ТЕРМІНОВО – НЕГАЙНО ПРОСИМО УВАГУ!
УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ ВІДПРАВИ НЕМА СЬОГОДНІ В ПРОКАТЕДРІ

На превеликий жаль, через жахливу й небезпечну погоду, не можемо правити сьогодні у часовні Преподобного Куйвіна в Прокатедрі. Вже було дуже багато аварій в Дубліні тими днями (дякувати Богу, здаеться що нема наших вірних в тих аваріях) і наша парафія не може бути відповідальною за аварії в дорозі до церкві.
О. Сергій щоденно служит вдома, приносячи Безкровну Жертву й молитви для всіх наших вірних і просячи зокрема щоб Бог Вседержитель дав кінец цього часу смутку.
А сьогодні поліція й метеорологічна служба попереджують що нині буде ще гірше, і просять усіх щоб ми всі залишилися вдома, хіба через необхідність. Майже нема солі і гравію (щоб посипати на дорогах) Франція, Англія. Німечиння і інші країні мають той сам клопіт.
Ми щоденно в контакті з Преосвященим Владикою ГЛІБОМ; Владика ще має надію нас відвідувати й правити для нас в неділю, 17-го січня.
Памятайте що школи замкнені до четверга; навіть університети замикаються в понеділок і вівторок. Якщо діти хотять грати у сніг, треба їм дати постійний нагляд.

URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT – ATTENTION!
NO UKRAINIAN SERVICE AT THE PRO-CATHEDRAL
ON SUNDAY, 10 JANUARY 2010
To our great regret, and because of the continuing dangerous weather conditions, it is impossible for us to have our Divine Liturgy today at Saint Kevin’s Oratory in the Pro-Cathedral. We cannot in conscience accept the potential responsibility for accidents (of which there have been many in Dublin in these days, but, thank God, we do not know of any accidents involving any of our parishioners).
Father Serge continues to serve each day at home, offering the Divine Liturgy and prayers for all the parishioners, and praying especially that Almighty God will bring a rapid end to this time of affliction.
But today the Gardaí and the Meteorological Service have both warned that the weather is very likely to be worse, and they urgently advise everyone to remain at home, going out only if it is absolutely necessary. Supplies of salt and grit (to provide traction on the roads and streets) are very short, and are likely to remain so – the same problem is affecting England, France, Germany, and other countries.
We have been in touch with His Grace Bishop Hlib each day; His Grace is still hoping to be with us next weekend.
Please also keep in mind that most schools are closed until Thursday, and even the Universities are closed on Monday and Tuesday. If your children wish to go out and play in the snow, they need close supervision.
